okay every one! heres the pictures of our heart dissections we did today! it was sooooo COOL!!! we all had so much fun slicing and dicing these buffalo hearts! two straight hours of butchering organs and none of us wanted to leave the class! we have some cool videos we took too... but for whatever reason they are not wanting to load... so i will have to try for another day. here are the pictures taken through out lab...

This is one of the bronchial tubes. if u can see the tiny tubes in it, it branches out into other little tubes and vessels.

The trachea!!! this was so awesome!!! you can see the cartilage rings in it that protect it from collapsing. 

* sigh * some of my classmates need serious mental help...
